While attempting to get my rating up and cross 1300 (I was exactly 1299) I stumbled across a 3.5-1.5 position at the tournament with the last round upcoming at the New Jersey Open held in Iselin at a Delta Woodbridge hotel. Outro
This was embarrassing and it definitely hurt (I went down to 1272 rating USCF) but it was 100% a learning experience. Now I understand more that the point of the Alapin is aggressiveness, and I will definitely watch out for the trap in the future.
Hope that game was content for y'all gng
