Chess Improvement Journey | Week 15

ChessOver the boardTournament
This week I played my first OTB match since my though 2000+ OTB tournament. And I ...

won. But the win was extremly messy, so it feels a little bit unfullfilling. But a win is a win and since it's a knock out tournament it was important to win to be able to play more games. And with my opponent being 1900 (with both ratings) I'm getting a good amount of confidance that I am able to compete at that level :). Here's the game (I didn't double check with the engine yet, since I intend to discuss the game in my club aswell, so take my analysis with a grain of salt):

It's definitely not my best game and I also didn't get into the habit of blunder checking yet (which would've probably really helped) but a win is a win, especially after a tournament consisting of 8 losses ...

Besides that nothing much happend, I continued my positional work and did a calculation session before the game. I shall continue my training. Untill next week :)
