Hello,

I’m FIDE Master Arnav Maheshwari (Peak Rating: 2383, 3× IM Norms, IM-elect).

I have been playing competitive chess since 2014 and have trained in Chennai, one of India’s leading chess hubs, alongside several strong IMs and GMs. My experience in high-level tournament chess has given me a strong practical understanding of the game, which I bring directly into my coaching.

I have completed all the requirements for the International Master title apart from reaching the required rating, and am currently working towards achieving the IM rating requirement.

I have been coaching actively since June 2025, working with both beginner and competitive players from different countries.

Chess has given me the incredible opportunity to travel internationally, representing and exploring the game in countries like Malaysia, Armenia, UAE, Serbia, Finland, Poland ,Uzbekistan ,Germany ,Croatia, Bosnia And Herzegovina, Austria, Hungary, Italy , Vatican City . These experiences have not only deepened my understanding of the game but also enriched my perspective as a coach.

I'm a sharp tactician with strong calculation skills, backed by a structured method that has helped both me and my students succeed in competitive play.
I bring a deep understanding of positional and strategic concepts, making complex positions easier to grasp and navigate.

I work with students who are serious about improving and willing to put in consistent effort.
