Interview with Grandmaster Alex Colovic

@RuyLopez1000 If I had read this 10 years ago, I would have thought that I had wasted my life. However, I can admire the subject of this article without feeling too bad about myself. I wish I could speak one additional language. This fellow is a GM AND can speak seven languages! I think he sounds like an amazing person all-around. Well, that's my two wooden nickels for the day. Thank you.

Nice interview!
That said, the following part suprised me:
"As for opening preparation, nowadays it affects only the top 10 or so, everybody else has no problems with the vast amount of opening theory."
Being a top 200 player, I find the abundance of opening theory a big problem, and many friends see it similarly. There's just much more theory than there used to be two decades ago, the preparation takes a lot of time and energy which might be missing during the game.
