Rook + h pawn against bishop is well-known from tournament practice. Very few players have studied it.
I showed the most important ideas in my article https://schaken-brabo.blogspot.com/2024/09/marathonpartijen.html

I don't think you can use this type of endgame for a study. A study must have a clear structured plan which is rather hard to demonstrate here. One of the most beaufitul studies I've ever seen was disqualified for exactly that reason see last one in my article https://schaken-brabo.blogspot.com/2022/03/de-eindspelgoeroe.html

Anyway this are just some side-remarks as you wrote a very nice article.

Ahh interesting, I’m sure there are nuances for what could make a composition tournament and what couldn’t. The “study thinking process” applies to a lot of positions that wouldn’t qualify.

That rook endgame is tricky because in rook vs bishop the bishop should be on a different diagonal then rook+h pawn vs bishop...one reason everyone plays this badly XD
