A problem is that "GM" can mean anything from "active top 30 beast" to "peaked at 2538 20 years ago and averages 10 games a year over the last decade". meanwhile 2318 can mean anything from "peaked at 2538 20 years ago and average 10 games a year over the last decade" to "gonna be 2650 in 3 years and already playing at 2500+ level in most games"

Also, Ben Finegold is gonna have an absolute field day with this one (re: Simon Williams, lol)
(although funny enough that's the only game that's clearly actually an upset, even if kinda just a time control blooper)

Ya but I feel like an up and coming player is bound to have the most upset wins right?? especially against a washed GM. Time control is kind of dumb tho since that comes down to pure luck, simon williams should have had a draw.
