I genuinely feel excluding Russia is bs. The players have absolutely no contribution to the war and imo ban from 2 of the editions should be more than enough. By banning such a strong country, the competition is diluted. Hopefully at least they’re back for the next one, even if not under the Russian flag, I would like to see the strong players like Nepo, Anna who are WC contenders, back for this event...
